Davin, my Son

until today i have always been forcing him to do something in term of learning. I often forced him to memorize colors just because his sister was able to mention every color. Also in counting, it seemed that he couldn’t catch up with his sister. I compared them very often, though only in my mind. i fully realized how bad the effect is if i happened to mention that his sister is better.
At school, he rarely grab a pen or crayon to draw something as his teacher told him to. he prefers to solve some puzzles. he can solve five to six puzzles in a row. of course they are just simple puzzles of six pieces.
but today, something comes to my surprise. i know it is just a simple small thing. but it opens my mind.. that my son, Davin is also as special as his sister. he came out of his class and showed me his drawing. it was a rectangle-like that he mentioned as our bed at home. and some other drawings that he pointed to be his star-pillow (his private pillow), himself, me, his sister and our ‘electric-mosquito-raquette’ ( you know, a tool to kill mosquitoes). i suddenly realize that he actually has somethings in his mind and he can mention them well. and again, before he ate his lunch today, at home, he could spell the prayer completely… it really hit me.. because he has never spelled it before and then he could do it at once!
so i have to be more careful in handling my son, Davin. he is also a diamond that should be polished day by day to be better each day..
i love you, Davin and of course, i love you Ibil..
